Learning To Fly
Mama Hagglin

Well you kicked and thought that you were there
That little stick, didn’t give you a scare
When you were clean, playin’ a part in my scene
We were always hangin’ out until you cheated on me

You know this really ain’t my style
Then I start to crack a smile
I’m leavin’ for a while, yeah
Gonna learn how to fly

It won’t work, without that fuel inside your veins
It’s like a gasoline to keep you in the game
You feel sick yeah, like you’re slippin’ through the cracks
Sometimes I even wonder if you’re ever comin’ back

You know this really ain’t my style
Then I start to crack a smile
I’m leavin’ for a while, yeah
I’m learning to fly

After all that’s happened, seems to be a bunch of crap
And you’re the one who had to shovel out the most
So tell me, how much will it cost to find out everything is lost
And I’ve been holding out to find out you’re a ghost

You know this really ain’t my style
Then I start to crack a smile
I’m leavin’ for a while
